I think you have to try and change your attitude to mistakes. Realize that everyone makes them and it is nothing to be embarrassed about (it is how you react to them that is important). Every time you do something wrong, take some time out to reflect on your experience to see where you went wrong. Think of it as a positive learning experience, and note that the more of these experiences you have, the more you will learn and faster!

Once you really accept that it is inevitable that you will make some mistakes, and you view them more positively as a learning experience, you should no longer have anything to fear.

There are teachers who concentrate on academics too much without even realising that life skills are just as important! The quote from Dalai Lama is gr8 btw
