Chiropractic is a healthcare profession that emphasises diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musco - skeletal system, especially tthe spine, on the basis that these disorders effect genreal health via the nervous system. Mostly, treatment invovles manual therapy.

How to get into this career ?

This is a fairly niche career. Best suited to someone who has an interest in medicine but prefers complimentary medicine and treating patients without drugs or invasive procedures (surgery).

Chemistry and Biology A levels.

3 leading institutions: Anglo European college of chiropractic- 4 year MChiro, University of Glamorgan – 4 year MChiro, McTimoney college of Chiropractic – 5 year mixed mode.
