Sometimes, you’ll have a telephone interview first, particularly if there are loads of applicants. Followed by a face to face interview. Competence interviews are currently in fashion, so you need to know about those. Interviewer styles also vary a lot and knowing common styles will help you to be more prepared

Arriving on time’s a good start! Spending time on proper preparation (including researching the company and preparing for likely questions as well as your own questions) are essential. Add a dash of confidence (not arrogance) and you’re half way there. There’s nothing better for a recruiter though than a background of consistent performance in whatever you do.
